Acupunture Therapy

Acupunture is being considered as the most appropriate alternative to medical treatment. In fact it has become so popular that special schools and colleges have been incepted in order to spread acupuncture as a complete body treatment alternative. Within the scope of acupunture there are different kinds of therapies one can avail

(A) Muscular therapy
This form of therapy is a combination of oriental Chinese medicine coupled with western understanding of physiology. It uses the science of acupuncture which believes all diseases to occur because of an imbalance between the positive and negative forces of the body. With the help of some muscular maneuvering this form of acupunture is effective for muscular tension, sore muscles and torn ligaments etc.

(B) Self Regulation Therapy
As the name suggests this therapy expects the patient to regulate his own condition and provide self treatment for his disease. With devices such as the electric acupuncture this has become an easy to use tool. These devices come with easy to use guides and manuals teaching the patient on how to perform acupunture on him self. This form of acupuncture is non invasive.

(C) Massage Therapy
More and more massage parlors are now offering massage therapy as a form of acupunture. The most common form of acupuncture found in massage parlors is acupressure. This technique uses the same principles as acupunture the only difference is that instead of needles the masseuse uses his fingers to trigger the desired effect. For many people this has become a good way to relax and get treatment at the same time.
